Associate Consultant:

urbanMetrics is a boutique real estate consulting firm based in downtown Toronto. We provide customized market research and forward-thinking business solutions to a diverse array of clients, including: real estate developers, commercial property managers, municipal and provincial governments, and public sector agencies, such as hospitals and universities. We are looking for an individual with relentless energy to push themselves further. As an Associate Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of client-focused projects, including: development feasibility analysis, highest and best use studies, municipal finance, economic impact analysis, asset repositioning strategies and public policy research.

 

Role Description: Associate Consultant (Level 1)

 

As an Associate Consultant, you will have the skills, training and acumen to deliver:

  • Quantitative research and business analysis using a variety of methodologies and data sources
  • Qualitative research that includes best practices, stakeholder interview and literature review
  • Draft-report materials that are comprehensive, accurate, persuasive and crisp

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Graduate or undergraduate degree in real estate, economics, planning or related discipline
  • Superior research, analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly quantitative research skills
  • An exemplary record of achievement in academics, community building or extracurricular activity
  • Proficiency in statistics, financial analysis and geo-spatial market research
  • Highly organized and detail focused
  • Strong verbal, written and visual communicator
  • Highly adept at Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Ability to work effectively and manage competing deadlines
  • A valid driver’s licence to conduct field work
