City of Burlington to become more age friendly

“The city’s first Active Aging Plan aims to help make Burlington more “age-friendly” and will guide the development of services, infrastructure and community partnerships supporting adults in the city aged 55 and older.” – Inside Halton

urbanMetrics was retained by the City of Burlington to prepare an action plan to keep its older adult community (aged 55+) healthy, active and connected to the community. The strategic plan being prepared by urbanMetrics is considered an important first step to ensure that the City’s program offering, and its service delivery model, are appropriately aligned with current and future needs of aging residents.
