The Toronto Islands are revered as one of Toronto’s most cherished assets.
urbanMetrics, in partnership with fsSTRATEGY, was engaged by the City of Toronto to undertake the business strategy in support of a Master Plan for the Toronto Islands. The business strategy involved a detailed examination of current food, retail, rental, visitor infrastructure and transportation services on the island and provided recommendations as to how they could be improved and further enhanced to support the Master Plan. The study included an evaluation of visitor demographics and spending patterns to identify potential opportunities to enhance and modernize the visitor experience.
