About the project

Longo’s Supermarkets was founded by three immigrant brothers from Italy in 1956. Their first store at Yonge & Castlefield in Toronto was a modest 1,500 square feet fruit market.  As a family-led business, Longo’s has grown into a household name with residents in southern Ontario, with over 35 store locations and more than 5,000 dedicated employees within its ranks.  

Over the past 15 years, urbanMetrics has been providing real estate advisory services to the company’s senior leadership team. urbanMetrics continues to provide Longo’s with timely and consistent market insights which has helped them connect with new customers that share their same passion for fresh and wholesome foods.
