Pacific Mall - Shopping Centre Redevelopment Dispute
About the project
Pacific Mall is a large Asian-themed mall, located in Markham, Ontario. The owners of the mall were involved in a dispute with a neighbouring commercial property owner seeking to re-develop their lands with comparable scale development that would directly impact Pacific Mall.
The dispute was the subject of a lengthy hearing on matters related to easements, traffic and circulation, land use and market infractions. The Courts ruled in favour of our client’s concerns, and the proposed redevelopment plans of the other party were negated.
