Caledon Age Friendly Action Plan
About the project
The Town of Caledon is committed to the principles of age-friendly planning and complete communities. In 2020, the Town retained urbanMetrics to develop a clear action plan for improving the lives of older adults and seniors over the next decade. Our firm led a consultation and strategic planning process that involved the participation of over 300 groups and individuals. Our plan includes specific action items related to housing, mobility, diversity, inclusion and corporate communications. The plan was unanimously supported by Town Council and is currently being implemented by staff and key community partners.
