About the project
urbanMetrics was part of a multi-disciplinary team retained to develop a concept plan and an official plan amendment for a new master planned community targeting older adults and seniors in the east end of Cobourg, Ontario. Our role in the assignment was to identify the types of housing that would be most successful in the community both now and in the future. As part of the study, urbanMetrics identified the demographic and household characteristics of the population in Cobourg, as well as a profile of the people moving to Cobourg, and the type of housing most suitable to their needs.
