About the project
Ebycrest Kitchener Development Limited retained urbanMetrics in 2023 to undertake a Commercial Needs Assessment, for their development site in Breslau, Township of Waterloo, Ontario. This market assessment involved an analysis of demographics and economic trends, as well as an assessment of the future growth population in a defined trade area.
We found that there was a significant shortfall in existing retail and service commercial facilities to serve the daily and weekly commercial needs of both current and future residents.
Overall, our analysis concluded that there is currently an unserved demand for commercial and service offerings in Breslau, and the Ebycrest Kitchener Development proposal could play a key role in meeting this demand through approval of the subject development.
