urbanMetrics was retained to undertake a retail market demand study and impact assessment to evaluate the market opportunity to develop an outlet centre in Niagara-on-the-Lake at the north-west corner of Glendale Avenue and Taylor Road, just south of the QEW. The study was based on significant empirical research, including an analysis of the competitive structure; demographic, income and retail expenditure trends; tourism, cross-border shopping and outlet centre trends; as well as extensive consumer research. The Outlet Collection at Niagara opened in 2014.
