Oro Station Racetrack & Motorsport Club

urbanMetrics was retained by the developers of Oro Station, a new motor circuit, business park and event facility on 200-acres of land in Oro-Medonte, Ontario.  The project is being positioned as new anchor for Ontario’s automotive industry, showcasing best-in-class innovations related to performance, efficiency, safety, driver training and commercial partnerships that elevate Canadian motorsports.  

urbanMetrics was brought into the project at the pre-approval stages to assess the economic impact and value creation at the local, regional and provincial level.  Our team provided the track development team with a formal business case to help build project momentum and stimulate discussions with community and government stakeholders framing the project in terms of job creation, tourism and business spin-off activity and tax revenues.  Oro Station is currently under construction.
