New Post-Secondary Satellite Campus, Brampton

The City of Brampton is one of North America’s fastest growing cities. The City and Province had jointly identified a need for expanded post-secondary learning options to support its growing population and employment footprint.  urbanMetrics was retained by the City of Brampton’s blue-ribbon panel to position the City as a leading contender for new post-secondary capacity in Ontario.  Our firm was tasked with putting together a business case and economic impact analysis that showcased the transformative effects of a new satellite campus in Downtown Brampton.  Our study in Brampton served as a catalyst to several important partnerships between post-secondary education providers, the City of Brampton and the Province of Ontario in the areas of healthcare, cyber-security, entrepreneurship, skills training and talent retention.
